Easton, Maryland Traffic Violation Attorney

Minor traffic violations can still have future consequences, and paying a ticket means pleading guilty.  Traffic violations incur points on the driver’s license, and enough of them could result in the driver’s license being suspended.

Prior to January 1, 2011 Maryland drivers who received a payable traffic citation knew that they would receive a trial date in the mail if they didn’t pay the ticket.   Now, drivers must mail in a part of the ticket requesting a trial date within 30 days of receiving the citation.  If the driver fails to do so, they could have their license suspended.
